Join us for a Bible Study!

Starting September 10th, Concordia will be hosting a Beth Moore Bible Study. The subject is "Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John". This is an 11 week study and childcare is provided. There is usually a member book fee, so bring along your checkbooks. 

(from the Lifeway.com website) This study explores the life of the apostle John. Beth conveys that John had the God-given gift of seeing a larger picture and that his love relationship with Christ profoundly influenced everything he did and wrote. 

As the other disciples were martyred one by one, John remained to write his sublime Gospel proclaiming Jesus' identity as the eternal Word of God. In his three letters John left a legacy of diving love to ignite the passion of future believers. And while exiled  on Patmos, John recorded His risen Lord's glorious revelation of victory and hope. John referred to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved." Just as Christ took John on a lifelong jorney into the depths of His love, He will do the same for you. The Bridegroom's love is unmatched and inexhaustible, and he is waiting to lavish it on you, His beloved.

The member book includes a personal interactive study five days a week plus viewer guides for the group video sessions. "

If you have never done a Beth Moore Bible study, you are in for a treat! I have thoroughly enjoyed many of them. The teaching is always very applicable and life-changing. It is a great opportunity to meet other women and participate in very encouraging fellowship.

Several MOPS moms are already planning on attending, so you'll be sure to recognize a face or two. All you need  to do is register the kiddos for childcare by calling 479-1477 x 1000 (leave a message with the kids name's and ages). Meetings are held in the same room where MOPS meetings are located.
