WELCOME TO MOPS!

It's the start of another year at Concordia Lutheran MOPS Group. We are bringing the group out of the paper age (yeah!) and into the information age. Yes, we are keeping with the times and going green. We now have the exciting ability to have an ongoing blog in addition to a formal newsletter and a Yahoo Group page that will connect the entire group and keep us up to date with the latest happenings within the group, the exciting events around town, and give us a new forum to have continued discussion outside our Friday meetings.

Our new forum with Yahoo Groups will expand the possibilities of communication. You can post a question and have several well-qualified answers in response to your concerns. Your prayer requests will be instantly sent to the group (if you wish) through our prayer team. When you need a good referral for a qualified professional to help with family demands, you have other mothers who can refer one of their favorite Doctors, Dentists, bug-guys- you name it! Convenient reminders are a big feature that we are working very hard on. We want to make sure you never miss a meeting, play date, or service project because of lack of communication. Look for reminders for MOPPETTS, birthday announcements, meeting agendas, and city celebrations. 

We are trying something new with the Blog. It can be so many sensational things for our group. You could find at any time, an article on parenting, fun ideas to do around town, pictures from meetings and events, recipes, and stories of transformation in our lives. If you have something to share, please let us know. This is a community site. We are just the means to get good information out to a fantastic group of mothers who have a variety of demands that someone is bound to relate to. This blog is not a substitute for the valuable relationships you will build this year with our MOPS group, but an extension to get you through the week or a sleepless night. If you are going to be tapping away on the computer, why not stop by and get filled with positive, encouraging information to make that stretch to the next MOPS meeting a little easier to get through.

Stay tuned, many exciting things are developing for the new year at MOPS. Your table leaders are anxious to see you and all the Steering Team is looking forward to serving the best MOPS group around!
